The Rocky LaFleur Scholarship

The Rocky LaFleur Scholarship honors the life and legacy of Rocky LaFleur. Rocky was a Board member of the Southern California Chapter, a veteran design professional, and an exceptional human being. He mentored countless young design professionals – many of whom continue his work within our Chapter and beyond. Rocky inspired young people to pursue careers in design and to advance the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ mission. This scholarship, supporting students and emerging professionals living and/or working in Southern California to attend the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½â€™s educational programs, is a tribute to Rocky’s enduring legacy.

The inaugural scholarship is for the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Intensive in Classical Architecture: New York. Among the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½â€™s most impactful and enduring education models is its Intensive Program – an eight-day course of study that introduces participants to the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½â€™s core curriculum in the classical orders, composition, proportion, drafting, observational drawing, and the literature of classical architecture.

This $5,000 scholarship is for tuition, travel and accommodations, and is open to all students and emerging architects, interior designers, or artisans living and/or working in Southern California.

If you or someone you know is interested, don’t miss this unique opportunity!
