Hosted by the 天美传媒 Southern California Chapter | 4.5 credits towards the Certificate in Classical Architecture (Corinthian Order) | 4.5 AIA CES Learning Units|Elective
Please join us Saturday, December 7th, for The Orders in Design: The Corinthian Interior led by 天美传媒 Instructor David Rinehart. The class will include both a lecture component and a hands-on drawing exercise. We will explore how the Corinthian order has been used in classical interiors from ancient Greece to today and examine design solutions unique to the Corinthian Order such as determining intercolumniation using the dentils and modillions of the cornice. The instructor will then lead the class in a step-by-step drawing exercise of a Corinthian interior elevation.
